Exegesis

I'm still working on that whole CMS thing, by the way. But tonight I felt in the mood for random writing, so random writing there is. I googled 'writing prompts' and everything ("Your character is tied to a lake". I had thought I would be doing something more with fluids there, but apparently no).

I had to go to Stackoverflow to work out how to do line breaks ffs (on the second attempt). And sure, I know now, but.. actually yeah, now the line breaks are down we're maybe sorted. That's it! No more Nuxt.js exercises for me! (This blog isn't even written with Nuxt..) I'm running away to an island, it's nothing but sun, sand, sea and double spaces from now on! (At the end of the line, that's how you get line breaks in markdown, as I wasn't polite enough to link to the answer) (sun, sand, and sea at the end of all lines, it is key)

In other news, I am now sharing the house with two cats. Also humans! But the cats are new and therefore exciting (oh fickle beast, humanity). They are, as far as I can tell, identical, but have both been mostly hidden behind a mattress in the back room for the past few weeks since they've been here, so I am probably missing some nuance. The food has been disappearing regularly, and I've definitely seen at least one cat, so am taking it on trust that there are still two cats and not just one pulling some kind of scam.

Oh and - as should hopefully be clear as the blog still (at time of writing) exists happily at its URL - the domain transfer went through fine and the new registrar Freethought is my new favourite cupcake. They're based in Lincoln! Where I used to live! And they replied to my email at 11pm, which I'm in no way condoning, no, sleep and boundaries are important, don't expect this from your IT support team people, but it's also personally relatable and lovely.
